Food insecurity—limited or uncertain access to adequate food to live an active, healthy life—affects tens of millions of Americans. Historically, we’ve addressed food insecurity by building brick and mortar stores. However, increased access to technology offers a new model.
In this session, we will discuss the use of technology for identifying innovative solutions that increase access to food in new, more sustainable ways. Leveraging online ordering, last mile delivery, and education will have a greater impact on food insecurity and the overall health outcomes of our neighbors.
