  1. Medication affordability
    1. Needy Meds - Maintains a list of  manufacturer patient assistance program applications for free medication.Provides printable coupons, rebates, savings cards, free trial offers and free samples. Also offers a directory of affordable healthcare clinics by location and finds programs that help with costs associated with diagnoses.
    2. Cost Plus Drugs - Offers low-cost medications that can be bought online with a prescription without insurance 
    3. Patient Advocate Foundation - Non-profit organization which provides professional case management services to Americans with chronic, life threatening and debilitating illnesses. Offers financial aid funds and co-pay relief programs. Also has resources in Spanish. 
    4. MyGoodDays - Offers co-pay assistance, travel assistance, and helps with costs associated with treatment for patients with insurance that covers 50% of the cost of treatment and is at or below 500% the Federal Poverty Level. Check the website frequently to see what disease states are open for enrollment. 
  2. Help with Medicare and Medicaid
    1. SHIP Navigators - Free help for patients signing up for Medicare and finding the best plan that fits thei needs 
    2. Medicare Limited Income Newly Eligible Transition (NET) Program  - provides temporary Part D prescription drug coverage for low-income Medicare beneficiaries not already in a Medicare drug plan 
    3. Applying for IN Medicaid - Portal for patients to apply to Indiana Medicaid 
  3. Affordable medical care:
    1.  Federally Qualified Health Centers by State - Provides a list of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and Look Alikes (LAL), which provide health care services regardless of a person’s ability to pay.They accept insurance and also offer sliding fee scales.
    2. ECHO Community Healthcare - In the Evansville area, this organization offers a sliding scale fee for patients who are underinsured, have no insurance, or are unhoused. They operate clinics and provide prescription assistance for patients who apply. 
    3. Catholic Charities of Evansville - Medical travel fund for children under 18 years of age in the Evansville area. 
  4. PrEP and HIV treatment 
    1. Indiana Department of Health: HIV Services - For eligible people living with HIV (PLWH) in Indiana, provides access to antiretroviral medications and other important core medical and support services, including AIDS Drug Assistance Plan.
    2. Indiana Department of Health: Viral Hepatitis Services - Free program that connects people living with hepatitis C to Care Coordinators that can assist with scheduling medical appointments, insurance enrollment, transportation, housing and more. 
    3. Gilead Advancing Access® Medication Co-pay Coupon Card - For patients with commercial or private insurance, this program provides financial assistance for out-of-pocket costs with HIV medications. Website also available in SpanishManufacturer assistance program for free medication also available for those who qualify. 
    4. ViiV Healthcare ViiVConnect Savings Card (myviivcard.com) - Patients with commercial insurance and are eligible can receive assistance with the savings card on specific HIV medications to reduce copay costs. Manufacturer assistance program for free medication is also available for those who qualify. 
    5. Damien Center - Provides HIV services with a focus on primary and high-risk HIV-negative care. The clinic also provides patients with a medical case manager, mental health and substance abuse counseling services, access to Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) for those at substantial risk for contracting HIV, and gender-affirming care. Also offers resources for housing and food.
    6. AIDS Pharmaceutical Assistance | Indiana - Provides resources for various services in the Indianapolis area, including AIDS pharmaceutical assistance, emergency financial assistance with medications, HIV testing, housing, and translation services.
    7. Free HIV/STD Testing - Damien Center - Free HIV/STD and Pregnancy Testing with Damien Center, located in downtown Indianapolis. 
    8. Bell Flower Clinic - Provides low-cost testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) as well as support for those who have been diagnosed with an STD. If the test is positive after testing, no additional fees are added for treatment. 
    9. Matthew 25 AIDS Services (HIV medical care in southern Indiana and Kentucky) - For patients in southern Indiana and western Kentucky, Matthew 25 is a non-profit healthcare clinic that provides services and information in regards to HIV/AIDS prevention, testing, and treatment. Patients can receive medical assistance for HIV treatment, and they offer free HIV testing. 
    10. AIDS Resource GroupAIDS Resource Group - Counsels patients with HIV/AIDS, offers risk reduction and harm reduction supplies, free HIV testing and education in the Evansville area.
