The Indiana Pharmacists Education Foundation (PEF) was established in the early 1980s as a charitable, non-profit foundation to offer scholarships to student pharmacists and support IPA's educational programming.  In just the last two decades the Foundation has provided over $200,000 in scholarships and programming support. This includes the Joseph E. McSoley and Jeremy Thain scholarships. None of this is possible without the generosity of Indiana's pharmacy professionals. Please consider donating to the Pharmacists Education Foundation.

The Indiana Pharmacists Education Foundation (PEF) is a not-for-profit, 501-C-3 charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible.

Fundraising Events

PEF Silent Auction

The PEF Silent Auction is held each year at the IPA Annual Meeting. Thanks to generous donations of creative auction items and the support of attendees the Foundation raises funds for scholarships to support student pharmacists.

PEF Golf Outing

Held each May, the Foundation Golf Outing brings together IPA members for a fun-filled day at the golf course with the purpose of raising funds to support student scholarships and also serves as a relaxing networking opportunity.  All proceeds benefit the IPA Foundation’s support of student pharmacists at Indiana's three colleges of pharmacy.

Student Scholarships

Thanks to the generosity of members, the Foundation awards three scholarships annually in honor of the late Joseph E. McSoley, an IPA Past President and strong supporter of student pharmacists.  One scholarship is awarded to one student from each of Indiana's three colleges of pharmacy.  Additionally, due to an endowment by the Thain family, one scholarship is awarded annually in honor of the late Jeremy Thain. The presentation of these scholarships is made at IPA's Annual Meeting.
