Legislative Victory: SB 293 Successfully Passed

IPA is proud to announce the passage of MPJE bill

The Indiana Pharmacy Association is proud to announce the successful passage of Senate Bill 293 (SB 293) — a major advancement for pharmacy licensure in Indiana.
SB 293 removes the requirement for the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE) for pharmacist licensure in Indiana, an exam administered by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
This achievement reflects IPA's ongoing commitment to advancing policies that support pharmacists, pharmacy students, and the communities we serve.
From legislative testimony and stakeholder meetings to member engagement and coalition building, IPA remained actively involved throughout the process to ensure this bill's success.
